What We Made Wednesdays: Pear Muffins

Isn’t it awesome how our kiddos really get to practice their culinary skills at Adventures?

Last week at Adventures, we made some delicious pear muffins for snack time.  These yummy, moist baked goods are vegan and easy to prepare–all you need is a spoon and a bowl!

Break out the aprons and join us in recreating these treats at home!

Vegan Pear Muffins


1/2 cup oil or butter
3/4 cup applesauce
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t nutmeg
1 1/2 t vanilla
1/3 cup almond milk or milk
1 1/2 cups mashed pears
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream together oil/butter, applesauce, and sugar.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
4. Pour into 24 cupcake liners.
5. Bake for 20 minutes.
